How long will my refund information be available?
If you file your tax return before July 1. Your account information will be available on the Where’s My Refund application. Until the second or third week of December.
If your refund check was undeliverable and returned to us by the U.S. Post Office, your refund information will be available through the Where’s My Refund? application. During the following year, until you file another return for a more recent year.
If you file your tax return on or after July 1.
Your return information will remain available throughout the following year, until you file a return for a more recent year.
Can I change my address online?
If your refund was returned to us by the postal service, you may change your current address on file online. The Where’s My Refund? application offers this service if you are eligible (available in English only).

What if the reimbursement is lost, stolen or destroyed?
Generally, you can initiate a claim and request a new check be sent to you 28 days after the date we sent you your refund. The Where’s My Refund? application will provide detailed instructions on how to file a claim if this is your situation.
